Four Industry-Focused Concentrations
Generative Artificial Intelligence
The Generative AI concentration provides an in-depth examination of Generative AI models and their applications. Students explore the architecture and development of popular AI models, and their creative and industry applications. The program also addresses ethical considerations and the societal impacts of Generative AI. Students acquire practical skills for deploying Generative AI models to solve real-world business challenges, and are well-prepared to drive innovation and achieve success in a wide range of industries.
Product Development
This concentration equips students with the essential skills and experience to create and manage successful digital products. Covering everything from user needs assessments, rapid prototyping techniques, marketing strategies, and data-driven decision-making, this program immerses students in all aspects of the product development lifecycle. Students are prepared to drive innovation, optimize product performance, and succeed in today’s dynamic tech landscape.
Technology in Healthcare
This concentration explores the intersection of healthcare and technology, equipping students to thrive in roles withing the digital healthcare field, including electronic health records, telemedicine, and health information exchanges. Courses cover digital health applications, architecture, interoperability, and future technologies, emphasizing how technology can enhance healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes.
Cloud Computing
The Cloud Computing concentration equips students with essential skills in cloud infrastructure, security, DevOps, and administration. Through hands-on experience, students are prepared to lead cloud initiatives, enhance digital workplaces, automate processes, and safeguard data, meeting the growing demand for cloud expertise in the tech industry.

Course of Study
The MSIT curriculum comprises ten (10) courses, including four (4) required core courses, four (4) courses from a selected concentration, and two (2) electives.
All students complete an internship within the IT industry that aligns with their course of study and career goals.
Jas Gaurav Singh, Ph.D., MBA
Program Director
Originally from India, Dr. Singh has over 15 years of industry experience in the US spanning banking, technology, and insurance sectors, he has led digital transformation, product development, process improvement, and risk management initiatives. Jas holds a Ph.D. in Technology Management, an MBA, and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering. His recent research focuses on the impacts of generative artificial intelligence on business and society.
